Aja Kong 40th Anniversary 5/16/26 Results

Aja Kong milestone event results from Okinawa, Japan at Toyosaki Seaside Park Chura Sun Beach on Saturday, May 16, 2026 now on Wrestle Universe. This show was tape delayed because it was an outdoor show on a very windy day. There was a men’s pre-show tag team match with wrestlers from Tochigi Pro Wrestling.

Aja Kong came out to the ring to greet the crowd and she was joined by The Crush Gals (Lioness Asuka and Chigusa Nagayo). There were also mascots from an advertising deal that was a sponsor for the show. 

Rina Amikura and Shoko Nakajima defeated Mika Iwata and Sora Ayame when Nakajima pinned Ayame after a diving senton set up by a diving senton from Amikura in 10:24.

Momoka Hanazono and Unagi Sayaka defeated Mizuki Kato and Sakura Hirota when Sayaka ended up pinning Hirota with Hirota’s own finisher in 15:33. 

Hiroyo Matsumoto and Kyoko Inoue defeated Rina Yamashita and Yurika Oka when Matsumoto pinned Oka after the Rock Drop in 10:29.

The Crush Gals came back out to the ring to speak to the crowd. It’s always great to seem them together again and they have been reuniting a lot lately on events like this over the last couple of years. This segment apparently turned into a Talk Battle between the two because after more than a few minutes the ring bell rang to put an end to it. 

Chihiro Hashimoto, Syuri, and Takumi Iroha defeated Haruka Umesaki, Itsuki Aoki, and Kakeru Sekiguchi when Iroha pinned Sekiguchi after the Running Three in 13:22.

Aja Kong, Hikaru Shida, Kaori Yoneyama, and Ryo Mizunami defeated Nagisa  Nozaki, Saori Anou, VENY, and Yuki Kamifuku (with Maya Yukihi) when Kong pinned Kamifuku after the backfist set up by the backdrop in 20:39. Maya Yukihi had a big cast on her left arm. Kong thanked everyone again for coming to close the show.
