Major Title Change In The Pacific Northwest
Danika Della Rouge pinned Pacific Northwest Wrestling Women’s Champion Teal Piper to win the title after using a chain as a weapon on 5/31/26 in Vancouver, Washington, USA at Lord’s Gym. This was an upset because the return of the PNW name in this rebooted version was built around Piper as the top star and they’ve made their Women’s Title to be a really big deal.
Teal Piper (with Deimos) defeated Priscilla Kelly in the finals of a tournament by referee stoppage with the sleeper hold in 9:15 to become the inaugural champion back on 2/21/26 in Vancouver, Washington, USA at Lord’s Gym. Her sister Fallon got in the ring and hugged her after the match. Piper was emotional in her victory speech. She said Portland Wrestling has had a big history over the decades and her father was a huge part of it. She said she was happy that her Mother, along with Fallon’s husband, and of course Deimos (aka Teal’s husband) were all there to see her win the title. Before she could finish speaking, Danika Della Rouge ran in the ring and jumped her from behind and starting beating on her with the title belt to ruin the moment. Deimos made the save and helped Piper to the back. Della Rouge then did a promo saying Piper was given everything but now she’s damaged good. She said they will one day meet for the title but she will take the belt before then. She still had the title belt with her because Piper and Deimos left in behind during all the confusion.
Also on the 5/31/26 show, Pitbull Vachon won the PNW Heavyweight Title in a 7-Way Sole Survivor Match.
The PNW Tag Team Titles changed hands on 5/30/26 in Rainier, Oregon at El Tapatio as Buddy Highway and Malcolm Evans defeated Dorian Bishop and Deimos (subbing for injured JD Bishop) to win the titles.
