Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter were joined by Mina Shirakawa in an interview backstage with Lexy Nair right after the Collision opening match. They issued an Open Challenge to any three other women for later tonight. Shirakawa vowed to get revenge on Thekla for herself and for Toni Storm. She also said she will find out who the mystery person is that attacked Storm backstage several days ago.
Alex Windsor, Jamie Hayter, and Mina Shirakawa defeated Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont, and Haven Harris when Shirakawa submitted XS to the Figure Four Leglock set up by the Hart Attack style finisher from Windsor and Hayter in just 1:24. Hayter got on the mic afterwards. She said it was great to team up with Shirakawa and gave assurance that she and Windsor had nothing to do with attacking Toni Storm. Windsor called out Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue. The three heels appeared in the crowd. Thekla said they couldn’t handle Triangle Of Madness, but if they wanted to try it, they’ll end up just like Toni Storm. Shirakawa challenged them to a trios match on AEW Dynamite next week.
Later in this episode, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron were shown backstage talking to each other. They were both acting sore because of their match tonight. Cameron apologized for losing the fall and letting Nightingale down. Nightingale took it all in stride and was all smiles. They both agreed they couldn’t have asked for a better partner and they made history together by becoming the first AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions which nobody expected. Cameron said it was now time for Nightingale to focus on being the defending TBS Champion. Cameron said, as far as her own future goes, she will go “wherever the wind” takes her. They hugged each other and shed a few tears in an amicable break up of their tag team The Babes Of Wrath.
