Mercedes Mone Returns To AEW

Mercedes Mone was the “Wild Card” mystery opponent for Alex Windsor in the Owen Hart Women’s Cup Tournament Match on AEW Dynamite live on TBS this week. Mone defeated Windsor by submission with the Statement Maker in 12:26. 

Mone had been gone from AEW after losing the AEW TBS Title to Willow Nightingale on New Year’s Eve. She went on an international tour earlier this year losing all of the titles that she still held and she relinquished the APAC Women’s Title. 

After the match with Windsor was over, Mone went to the display area at ringside where the Owen Hart Women’s Cup Tournament title belt was being showcased. She took the belt and walked backstage with it. She won last year’s tournament by defeating Jamie Hayter in the Finals in 21:17 at AEW Double Or Nothing on 5/25/25.
