AJ McKay, Josh Ashcraft, and Linda Kay were the broadcast team. Eric Cornish was the ring announcer.
Road Dogg came out to do guest commentary for the show. Linda Kay moved out of the broadcast table for Dogg and did co-ring announcer duties with Cornish.
OVW Rush Division Champion JJ Lawson defeated Brendan Balling in a Ladder Match when Icon Lee ran in to push Balling off a ladder just as he was about to grab the title in 14:17.
Braun Strowman sent in a video message of congratulations to OVW on the milestone show number. He recorded while working out at a gym.
A Gauntlet Match where the winner is #1 Contender to the OVW Media Title: Erik Surge pinned Juwan Thomas after the Detonator. Adam Revolver was in next. The announcers said Revolver has been involved with OVW for 22 years. Surge pinned Revolver after Detonator. Mario Pardua was next. Pardua pinned Surge in an upset after a Polish Hammer. Metodi Getov was next. Getov pinned Pardua after a spear. Tony Gunn was next. Getov pinned Gunn after a low blow and spear. Austin Ryker was next. Getov pinned Ryker after the spear. Ashton Adonis was in last. Getov pinned Adonis after the spear to win the match in 14:00.
Prime Jackson & Boy Toy Troy won a 4-Way OVW Tag Team Titles Match over The Sin City Outlaws (Luke Hartman & Mad Dog Martin with Janie Hartman), OVW Tag Team Champions Z Force (Kid Colossus & Super Z with Percival Goodington XIII), and Jake Painter & Jake Lalwess when Troy fell on top of Super Z for the pin cover to win the titles after a couple of others in the match had given Super Z a double team superplex in 5:49. Janie Hartman beat up Goodington down at ringside and chased him to the back after a few minutes into the match and they never came back out.
Brandon Davis was in the ring to do an episode of The Brandon Davis Show. He brought out Jessie Godderz as his special guest. Godderz has been gone from OVW for a long time. He is now part of the cast of the new American Gladiators TV show on Amazon Prime. He came out wearing his Gladiator gear and it has his character name of Steel on it. Davis argued with him a little bit and then Godderz unveiled an official American Gladiator poster of himself as Steel. Icon Lee and TW3 then came out to interrupt the segment. Lee and Godderz insulted each other and then lawyer PJ Jones came out to the ring. He said TW3 can legally get out of the sheep costume that Lee forces him to wear but only if he can beat Lee in a match now.
TW3 pinned Icon Lee after an Eat Defeat in 3:47. He immediately (and finally) took off the sheep costume as soon as the bell rang to end the match. Godderz and Davis celebrated with him after and Davis interviewed him in the ring. Lee jumped TW3 as Davis was interviewing him. He demanded Davis take off his belt so he could use it from him as a weapon to whip TW3. Nobody made the save. Godderz put his hands up in the air to gesture that he didn’t want to get involved and he left the ring with Davis.
Drew Hernandez pinned Colby Carter after a spear to win the vacant OVW Media Title in the Tournament Finals in 9:34. Carter had Hernandez pinned after the double stomp to the back of the head but Hernandez had his foot on the ropes. Carter turned his back to ask the referee what had happened and when he turned around he got caught right into the spear. Tommy Boy came out to the stage after the match and didn’t look happy for Hernandez and gave him a sarcastic applause. The commentators talked about the rankings of the OVW titles and made it sound like the OVW United States Title is the top title. They said the Media Title makes you a contender to the OVW Heavyweight Title and the Heavyweight Title is a pathway to the U.S. Title.
Al Snow and Katie Gannon came out to the ring. Snow thanked the fans to getting OVW Rise to 1400. He said the are the second longest running show “in the history of the medium”. They brought out OVW legends Dean Hill, Kenny Bollin, Kevin Thorn, Jebidiah Blackhawk, Simon Dean, Hollyhood Haley J (getting a huge ovation in return), Crixus, J-Man, Jessie Godderz, and Cash Flo. The OVW owners came out to join them. John Cena’s music played to the delight of everyone but Doug Basham came out instead. He said he was in the first match on the first episode of OVW. He arrogantly strutted around the ring until Cash Flo gave him a chop and Haley J followed up with a Power Slap.
Legacy Of Brutality (Hy-Zaya and Big Zo with Josh Ashcraft leaving the broadcast table to manage them again) defeated The Trouble Makers (Canaan Kristopher and Glenn Spectre) when Hy-Zaya pinned Spectre after a swanton bomb in 5:38.
Kal Herro pinned Stephen Steel in a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Kevin Thorn as the special referee after spearing him into a door set up against a dumpster outside the venue in 8:46. Thron raised Herro’s arm in victory but then attacked him with a trash can for reasons unknown.
Bully Ray sent in a video to congratulate OVW.
OVW United States Champion Tony Evans (with Tommy Boy and Drew Hernandez) pinned Jay DeNiro when Tommy Boy hit DeNiro with a chair during a referee bump in 11:01. The referee was accidentally squashed in a ring corner during the action. Evans got a chair while the referee was down and was going to hit DeNiro with it. Tommy Boy took it away from DeNiro and it looked like he would finally rejoin his father and come back to his real family. It was a swerve and he hit DeNiro in the back with the chair. DeNiro is currently the OVW Heavyweight Champion but only the U.S. Title was on the line.
ODB sent in a video message. She said she will be going into the TNA Hall Of Fame on October 11. She said she would love for Al Snow to be the one to induct her.
Lovely Miss Larkan (with Tommy Boy) defeated Shalonce Royal (with PJ Jones) by submission to win the vacant OVW Women’s Title in the Tournament Finals in 5:27. Tommy Boy and Jones were ejected for interfering before the finish but Tommy Boy ran out after the match to celebrate.
JBL and Cash Flo defeated Kash Daniel and Dustin Jackson when JBL pinned Daniel after the Clothesline From Hell set up by a couple of chops from Cash in 11:15. Jackson walked out of the match to avoid getting clotheslined by JBL.
The lights went out and a video message from John Cena played to close the show. He said without OVW it might have been a different path and story for him.
