AJ McKay, Carmen Michael, and Josh Ashcraft were the broadcast team. Linda Kay was the ring announcer.
The show opened with cameras going into the lounge area of the venue backstage. J-Rod was brawling with Rae Larson as male members of the roster and staff cheered them on. Larson defeated J-Rod two weeks in a row last month in what were considered upset victories. A third match was scheduled for this week. J-Rod ended up manhandling Larson from the backstage area and out to the ring not wanting to wait for it later in the card.
J-Rod pinned Rae Larson with a move the announcers called The Protoplex in 1:29. J-Rod rolled Larson into the ring and demanded for the referee to start the match after getting the best of Larson in the backstage brawl. The announcers said J-Rod gave herself an unfair advantage so Larson didn’t even have a chance this week.
Tony Evans was backstage giving his Evans Family a peptalk as Lovely Miss Larkan and Tommy Boy DeNiro have matches this week. He ordered Drew Hernandez to project Tommy Boy tonight because he said he has other plans and can’t do it.
OVW Tag Team Champions Only Bros.(Prime Jackson and Boy Toy Troy) defeated Adam Revolver and Tony Gunn by Disqualification in a non-titles match when Jake Painter interfered and attacked Troy in 6:23. Erik Surge tried to make the save but he accidentally hit Troy instead of Painter.
The Brandon Davis Show was next. His guest was Kid Colossus of The Z-Force. Colossus was all dressed up for the segment but still kept his mask on. He came out with a big unicorn stuffed animal. He said he was visiting a children’s hospital and one of the kids gave him the stuffed animal as a gift to keep. Colossus will have a match against Tony Evans at OVW Independence Rage on Sunday, July 19, 2026 live and free on YouTube. The Evans Family came out and distracted him so Tony Evans could “kidnap” the stuffed animal away from him.
OVW Heavyweight Champion Jay DeNiro pinned Big Zo after a Big Boot followed by the corkscrew elbow drop in a non-title match in 5:01. Dustin Jackson came out to the stage after the match and taunted DeNiro into chasing him backstage. DeNiro will defend the title against him on the July 19 event.
Tommy Boy DeNiro (with Lovely Miss Larkan and Drew Hernandez) defeated Meto by Disqualification when Hernandez got in the ring and punched Tommy Boy right in the stomach in 4:18. Hernandez will defend the OVW Media Title against Meto on July 19. They got into a brawl after the match as Tommy Boy and Larkan left Hernandez behind and went back to the locker room.
Katie Gannon came out to the ring because officials could not stop Meto and Hernandez from fighting. She said this has to stop and ordered the title match to take place right now. Tommy Boy came back out to be in the corner of Hernandez.
OVW Media Champion Drew Hernandez (with Tommy Boy DeNiro) pinned Meto after a low blow while the referee was distracted by Tommy Boy in 12:00.
Hour 2 -
OVW Women’s Champion Lovely Miss Larkan (with Tommy Boy DeNiro) defeated Joiya Blake by submission with the straitjacket crossface in a non-title match in 4:23.
OVW Tag Team Champions Only Bros. were shown backstage using ice packs on their injuries. They vented to each other because so many teams are coming after them for the titles.
The announcers said Katie Gannon told them the main event this week will be a 4-Way Match to decide a new contender for OVW Media Champion Drew Hernandez on July 19 now that he has defeated Meto.
Kal Herro pinned Mario Pardua after the kneelift in 4:15. A video from Kevin Thorn appeared on the screen as the match started to try to distract Herro. They will face each other on July 19. Herro got on the mic after the match and said he will leave Thorn laying. He said he has been in OVW for five years and he has become a man now.
Katie Gannon came out to the ring to do a contract signing for an OVW Rush Title Match between Brendan Balling and champion JJ Lawson. Lawson refused to sign it. Icon Lee and TW3 chased after each other during the segment and Gannon was accidentally hit in the process. She said it will be Lee vs. TW3 on July 19 in a Strap Match. Lawson then hit Balling in the back of the head with the title belt and powerbombed him into the signing table in the ring. He finally signed the contract. That title match will be a TLC Match on July 19.
Stephen Steel won the 4-Way Match over Ashton Adonis, Austin Ryker, Colby Carter by pinning Adonis after the lariat in 14:22. Steel will get the OVW Media Title match on July 19.
