The First Tiger Mask 45th Anniversary 4/28/26 Results

Strong Style Pro Wrestling presents The First Tiger Mask’s 45th Anniversary Event in Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall on Tuesday, April 28, 2026: 

Kazuo Yamazaki and Tsutomu Shimizu did a talk show segment. 

Daisuke Sekimoto and Kengo Mashimo went to a 10-Minute Time Limit Draw with Kazunari Murakami and Masakatsu Funaki.

Jaguar Yokota and Sareee did a talk show segment about women’s pro wrestling. 

SSPW Tag Team Champions Super Tiger and Masashi Takeda defeated Fuminori Abe and Hayato Mashita when Tiger pinned Mashita in 14:38. 

The First Tiger Mask (Satoru Sayama) came to the ring for his milestone celebration. Some of his classic matches were shown on the big screen between segments throughout the show. Stan Hansen and Hiroshi Tanahashi sent in video messages.

The Original Tiger Mask, Tatsumi Fujinami, Yoshiaki Fujiwara, and Akira Maeda did a legends talk show segment to close the show. 

Here are a few of our favorite First Tiger Mask/Sayama matches over the years. NJPW would lose the rights to the Tiger Mask name and gimmick to All Japan Pro Wrestling in 1984. Sayama would retire in 1983 but he returned in 1984 in Japan’s Universal Wrestling Federation. He retired again in 1985 and then returned again in 1994. He officially retired in 2016.
