Title Changes At NOAH Event Today

MIRAI pinned The Great Sakuya to win the vacant GHC Women's Championship after a lariat in 12:08. There was an interesting spot in the match where it looked like MIRAI was going to get the pin earlier in the match with the MiraMare Shock but Sakuya spit green mist up in the air right into MIRAI’s face to break up the pin cover attempt. MIRAI’s face was stained green for the rest of the match and still during the backstage comments after the show. The title was relinquished by Maya Iwatani in May due to injuries. Iwatani won it on January 3 defeating Takumi Iroha. 

Shuji Ishikawa pinned Daisuke Sekimoto to win the vacant GHC Hardcore Openweight Championship after the Giant Slam in 12:23. Former champion Hikaru Sato had to relinquish it due to injuries as well shortly after just winning it from Masato Tanaka at the end of May.
