Brett Mettro pinned Cash McGuinness after an airplane spin and a flatliner in the Showcase Match in 4:54.
The first two Women’s Title Tournament Matches take place this week. The winner of the Tournament becomes the first Wrestling Open Women’s Champion.
Paul Crockett was the play by play announcer. Rich Palladino was the ring announcer.
Rain Conway pinned Eye Black Jack by illegally using feet on the ropes in 8:05.
BRG came out to the ring to brag about ending the career of Pedro Dones. Jake Gray came out to interrupt him. He said he wants to shut BRG up on behalf of Dones. BRG said he could have a match next week if he can beat Nick Robles right now.
Jake Gray defeated Nick Robles by submission with a chokehold in 5:27. Gray is also the play by play announcer for WWR+
Lauren St. James pinned Nessa Ferrari (with Amity LaVey ) after a bulldog in 4:11. The stipulation was if St. James won she would immediately get to face LaVey. Lauren St. James pinned Amity LaVey with a sunset out of a counter in 1:08. These were non-tournament matches. St. James is the ring announcer for WWR+.. Paul Crockett said she debuted as a wrestler in 2024 but then she broke her arm which put her out of action for a long while. He said she’s had been doing ring crew work and announcing while she recovered. She just returned to action recently.
TJ Crawford defeated Danny Cabral by referee stoppage after a flurry of kicks in 1:19.
Jordan Blade defeated Sloane Jacobs (aka Notorious Mimi) by submission with an ankle lock in a Women’s Title Tournament Match in 8:33.
Gabby Forza pinned Tiara James after a spear when James tried to go for a move off the ropes in a Women’s Title Tournament Match in 12:04.
Lio Rush defeated DJ Powers by referee stoppage with a chokehold in 16:24.
Dustin Waller came out to the ring to talk about his title match against Bear Bronson for the vacant Wrestling Open Title coming up on Monday on IWTV. It was vacated due to Ryan Clancy having an injury. Waller wondered what has happened to the fans and to Wrestling Open. He called out the fans for talking amongst themselves and looking at their phones during the shows. He said when he wins the title he will never defend it in the venue again. Sammy Diaz came out to interrupt him. He wanted to know why Waller is so angry. He said Waller has everything going on right now. He said he was worried about Waller. Waller insulted Diaz and Diaz’s father. Diaz decked him and they had to be pulled apart.
Wrestling Open Tag Team Champions Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson and Brian Morris) defeated Sammy Diaz and Ichiban when Morris pinned Diaz after Dustin Waller tripped up Diaz as the referee was distracted by Stetson and Ichiban fighting back to the locker room in 13:45. Waller attacked Diaz after the match and continued to insult him. He said whenever Diaz’s wakes up he’s more than welcome to try to find him to settle things.
