WWE NXT “The Great American Bash” 6/28/26 Results: WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey

WWE NXT “The Great American Bash” results from Orlando, Florida, USA at The WWE Performance Center on Sunday, June 28, 2026 live and free on The CW commercial broadcast television network: 

This was the first WWE NXT premium live event on The CW. The network has been very happy with the ratings of the weekly NXT show on Tuesday nights so they decided to add on the NXT PLEs to their schedule. 

Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett were the broadcast team. Mike Rome was the ring announcer.

WWE NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo pinned Naraku after the chokeslam in 10:12. 

Vic Joseph said the very first superstar to win a title at a Great American Bash was Dusty Rhodes in 1985. Rhodes defeated NWA World Television Champion Tully Blanchard (with Baby Doll) to win the title in a “Lights Out” non-sanctioned Steel Cage Match. Rhodes also won the valet services of Baby Doll for 30 Days.  

WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria pinned Tatum Paxley after a curb stomp and then an F5 in 14:08.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair were shown in the locker room giving each other pep talks in hopes of winning their matches later tonight. Grey challenges Lola Vice for the WWE NXT Women’s Title in the main event and Sinclair defends the WWE Women’s Speed Title against Arianna Grace. 

The Vanity Project was backstage complaining to Mr. Stone in his office about not being on tonight’s card. Stone put them all in matches for Tuesday night back here on The CW. They now have to defend the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles against AAA talents El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr. and Galeno Del Mal on that show. Jackson Drake will go against Mason Rook.

Kevin Owens was shown as part of the analyst panel with Dave LaGreca and Blake Howard. 

Shiloh Hill pinned Tristan Angels after the Whisper Of The Beast in 13:07. Emily Agard interviewed Hill at ringside after the match and he did a classic babyface interview. 

Nattie was backstage with Nikkita Lyons, Karmen Petrovic, and Layla Diggs. She said she doesn’t want “soft women” in the business. Nattie said Petrovic will face Jaida Parker on Tuesday. Nattie, Lyons, and Diggs will be in the ring corner for Petrovic. 

Robert Stone was still in his office. He told EK Prosper he can have a match against AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Vikingo on Tuesday night. 

WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair defeated Arianna Grace (with Birthright) by submission with about 14-Seconds left in the 5-Minute Time Limit. 

Saquon Shugars pinned Dion Lennox after a reverse splash in 14:20. Darkstate attacked Shugars after the match and helped Lennox beat him up.

Tatum Paxley was interviewed backstage looking and acting very upset. Kelani Jordan walked about and didn’t feel sorry for her at all. She said she’s had title loses and title shot loses too but the difference is she doesn’t cry about it. She said Paxley is pathetic. Paxley’s mood changed and she got angry. She tried to attack Jordan but officials got between them.

WWE NXT North American Champion Myles Borne pinned Tavion Heights after the Borne Again in 17:11. Borne was interviewed at ringside after the match. He said he’s had the title for four months now and it’s the most important thing to him. He said it doesn’t matter if the challengers are friend or foe, he plans on holding the title for a long time. 

Hank & Tank came out to the stage to join Blake Howard and the panel on the stage. They plugged Tuesday’s NXT show. Keanu Carver came out and shoved them off the stage just because they causally said EK Prosper deserved the match against Vikingo this week. 

Kendal Grey pinned WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice to win the title after a springboard Shades Of Grey in 15:13. Their families were sitting in the front row for this. Vice came out wearing the title on her waist and she had the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles belt hanging from her hip. She and Mr. Iguana are the current champions. Kelani Jordan ran out about five minutes into the match to try to pull Grey off of the ring but Wren Sinclair quickly made the save and fought with her to the locker room. Sinclair came back out after the match to celebrate with Grey. 

This show did a very good job of feeling like a PLE as well as plugging the Tuesday night show for those possibly tuning in tonight to NXT for the first time.
